Three steps, and the first one is something you already do.

Walk the way you already do
Allow WalkBuzz to read your step count from Apple Health on iPhone, or from a supported source such as Health Connect on Android. Your phone does the counting; you just walk.
- Step 2
Set a goal, collect WB Coins
Pick a daily step goal that suits you. Every step up to it counts toward your WB Coins, and your coins for the day appear in the app for you to collect.
- Step 3
Redeem them for rewards
Spend WB Coins in the Reward Centre on rewards stocked for your country. At launch the Reward Centre is stocked for India.

WB Coins, plainly
Real rewards, with nothing hidden
WB Coins are how WalkBuzz rewards your walking. Here is exactly what they are.
WB Coins are
- Virtual reward points in your WalkBuzz account
- Collected from your steps and from what you do in the app, such as challenges, new levels and invites
- Redeemed in the Reward Centre for rewards stocked for your country
WB Coins are not
- Money, or anything with a cash value
- Something you can buy, sell or give to another person
- Withdrawable, or exchangeable for money outside the app
Collect each day’s coins within 15 days of first seeing them; collected coins may expire after 12 months with no activity. Rewards and their prices in coins vary by country and change over time, and at launch the Reward Centre is stocked for India.

Challenges with a clear target, set out before you join
Each challenge tells you up front how many steps to walk, by when, and the WB Coins you receive for finishing, if it carries a reward. Some are free to join; others have an entry fee in coins, shown before you join.

Privacy and control
Your steps, and no other health data
Letting WalkBuzz read your walking never gives it any other health data.

Step count only
WalkBuzz reads your step count from Apple Health or a supported Android source such as Health Connect. It does not read heart rate, sleep, workouts or location.
Read-only, with your permission
Nothing is ever written back to Apple Health or Health Connect, and you can withdraw access at any time in your phone’s settings.
Never sold, never used for ads
Your health data is never sold, never shared with advertisers or data brokers, and never used to target ads.
Private by default
No feature shows your steps to another walker. Community figures in the app are anonymous totals.
Leave whenever you like
Delete your account in the app, or ask us by email even after uninstalling. How to delete your account
Availability
Walk anywhere. Rewards where they are stocked.
WalkBuzz is on the App Store and Google Play in most countries and regions. Walking, WB Coins, streaks, levels and challenges work wherever you are.
At launch, the Reward Centre is stocked for India. Walkers in other countries can keep collecting coins, building streaks and joining challenges. A country’s Reward Centre opens once rewards are stocked for it.

Straight answers
Is WalkBuzz free?
Yes. WalkBuzz is free to download and free to use. WB Coins cannot be bought, so there is nothing to pay for: every coin comes from walking and from what you do in the app, such as challenges, new levels and inviting friends.
Are WB Coins real money?
No. WB Coins are virtual in-app reward points. They have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold or transferred to anyone else, and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for money. Read more about WB Coins.
How does WalkBuzz count my steps?
With your permission, WalkBuzz reads the step count your phone already records: from Apple Health on iPhone, or from a supported step source such as Health Connect on Android. It reads steps only, and never writes anything back.
What can I redeem WB Coins for?
Rewards stocked in the Reward Centre for your country, such as digital vouchers and, where they are stocked, physical products. The catalogue changes as rewards are added, sell out or retire. At launch it is stocked for India.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile, then Settings, Account and Delete account. You can also email support@walkbuzz.com from the address your account uses, even after uninstalling. Full details are here.
